Again, I will leave the standard lines and statistics to the professionals…
“Lin led the Knicks to a 4-0 week, averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 assists and 2.0 steals. His 109 points over his first four career starts are the most by any player since 1976-77, and he became the first player in NBA history to tally at least 20 points and seven assists in each of his first four starts. Lin scored a career-high 38 points on Feb. 10, in a 92-85 win over the Lakers.” — NBA.com
Hardly a surprise. Whether Jeremy is a temporary spark or “for real,” this is definitely a well-deserved recognition. Like Fu’s said, teams will start scouting and harassing him, and Jeremy will turn mortal. That could be true, but I will say this again, Lin’s got the supreme ability to adjust and learn from his mistakes, I’m sure he will adapt to the challenges as well. After all, if he’s double teamed and harassed…he’ll find that open teammate, “Somethin’s gotta give~”
In the mean time, I’m just enjoying this wonderful ride.
